Maça (pronounced Matsa) Turner lives with her husband Sasha and their two children, Marco and Dunja in Sombor in Serbia.
When moved to Sombor, Maça was the first person to become a Christian and join the church now known as Sombor Christian Fellowship. She is now employed by the church doing visitation, distributing humanitarian aid food parcels to the poorest of people in the town and surrounding villages on her bicycle. She uses this time to speak to people about Jesus as she explains why she is giving out the food parcels. She also helps with Sunday school.
Maça is very outgoing and she loves to share with others the good news of Jesus Christ, as a result many people have come to faith and are now attending the church. It is a tough environment, fighting against religious traditions and poverty but God uses Maça’s compassionate and loving heart for the people of Sombor to draw those who are hungry to Himself.
Maça is supported by LCF, and the money we give to her pays for her wages each month.
