Hugh, married to Hilary, has been a member of Lisburn Christian Fellowship for about 17 years. When he joined LCF he had stepped out of previous church leadership for a number of reasons and was looking to take a back seat. However, God had other plans, moving him forward to where he found himself both serving and leading in a variety of roles. Currently he is part of the small team that leads and serves the church. He says this is exciting, humbling, stressful and rewarding all at the same time. His role is about overseeing and supporting the home groups, acting as a link between the trustees and the leadership team and seeing how LCF can reach out to the unsaved. His passion is, and always has been, preaching and seeing God speak directly and prophetically to the Church and to individuals. Like the other leaders, he believes LCF is in a period of rebuilding and experiencing God’s hand in a new way.

Ian, married to Angela and father of James, has been with LCF for many years and works as a mechanic in Lisburn. He serves in the leadership team as a co-coordinator of prayer support and prayer ministry, and, has a real heart for members of the body to hear the Lord’s voice and walk with Him. He also has a passion for unity in the Body of Christ and for working alongside other local churches for the overall proclamation of the Gospel message and advance of the Kingdom of God in the region, country and world.

George has been married to Melanie for 36 years and has 4 adult children and two grandchildren. A qualified solicitor, he loves people, the Bible, Donegal beaches, North Africa and hill-walking. He also thinks he can cook! He has led LCF since its early days and has a passion for God’s church, to see it relevant, unified, maturing and actively carrying out the Great Commission of Jesus.

Melanie serves alongside George. She has a passion for the church body and a strong desire to see people walking close to God. She has run a children’s outreach work for the past 12 years and strongly believes it is possible to see a generation changed, one life at a time. She thoroughly enjoys her family, walking, reading good books, and recently, growing her own vegetables.
